Now Gothic should run without any problems! The only thing is that you will have to apply this fix every time you restart your computer I've not found a way to avoid that. (If you have a Gothic shortcut you can just right click that and run it as administrator as well) Right click "GOTHIC" and select "Run as administrator" Open the "System" Folder and inside will be the application "GOTHIC"ĥ.
Select the "Local Files" tab and click "Browse Local Files" (Your Gothic folder should open)Ĥ. To fix this, all you have to do is run it as an administrator.ģ. Gothic should launch for you after ending the conflicting process, but it will soon crash due to permission issues. Leave "GOTHIC.EXE" blank and select the other program, then hit "End process". Select "Analyze wait chain" (A window should pop up with "GOTHIC.EXE" at the top and another program listed immediately under it)ĥ. Open up Task Manager and go to the "details" tabĤ. So I noticed that Gothic 1 wouldn't launch for me in windows 10. Sorry I made this more drawn out than it had to be, I wanted to be as straight forward as possible.
